Lossiemouth are in action at home again and on the hunt for goals and points after two losses earlier in the campaign, and welcome Shire middleweights Formartine United to the Bernagow.

Lossie go into the game after a loss to Forres Mechanics last week. Having kept Forres quiet for an hour, the Coasters were undone by a pair of goals in as many minutes, with a penalty and an own goal giving Forres the lead ahead of a late third.
FORMARTINE UNITED – WL, GF 4, GA 1; LEAGUE POSITION – 9th
Formartine got off the mark last weekend with a healthy home defeat of Strathspey Thistle. The Shire side scored four unanswered goals to collect their first points of the season, coming after an opening day reverse at Brechin City which saw Formartine reach full time with only nine men on the park.

The two sides last met on the opening day of last season and Formartine were let off the hook by Lossie. A slow start from the hosts saw Formartine stretch their legs and build a three goal lead inside of the first half. Lossie fought back and were back in the game courtesy of a Martin Charlesworth goal five minutes from the break. Ninety seconds later, a penalty award for Lossie offered the hosts the chance to make the second half more of a contest, only for Ross Elliott to rattle the bar from the spot.

Goals from Colin Charlesworth and substitute Nikki Smith landed Lossie all three points on a drizzly day at Grant Park against a Formartine side that expected more than nothing from their visit to Grant Park.
TOP SCORERS…
Dean Stewart scored Lossie’s opener at Fraserburgh and it remains the only goal for the Coasters this season. Formartine rattle in four against Strathspey Thistle, with Julian Wade, Keiran Adams, Adam Emslie and Jake Stewart all hitting the target.
