Lossiemouth head east for a tricky tie with Aberdeenshire middleweights Inverurie Loco Works. The Coasters remain on their mid-table perch and go up against an Inverurie side still winless on their own patch on league duty this season.
LEAGUE FORM (MOST RECENT RESULT FIRST)…

Lossie go into the game after a narrow loss at Clachnacuddin last weekend, one which didn’t sit well with anyone in red after the events which brought the game to an end. The Coasters remain a binary side this season, having won or lost every game with no draws to be seen.
INVERURIE LOCO WORKS – DWDLDW, GF 8, GA 7; LEAGUE POSITION – 8th
Inverurie have endured a mixed bag of results so far this season, starting well with wins at Clach and Rothes with a home draw against Banks O’ Dee in the middle, before taking all three points from their trip to Fraserburgh. A stumble at Strathspey Thistle was followed by a home loss to Brechin City, but Inverurie are on a four-game unbeaten run across all competitions ahead of the weekend. Inverurie remain without a home win this season.

Lossie were last at Harlaw Park last December, with the Coasters showing up with little in the way of Christmas cheer and a determination to snaffle the mince pies left out for Santa before anyone. Locos did run out into a two-goal lead before Lossie fought back to level after an own goal from Mark Souter and a fine effort from Ryan Sewell, but an experienced showing from the hosts saw them take the lead again before claiming the points.

The only win at Harlaw Park, in fact. Lossie showed up a little over seven years ago and found Locos Ladies Day in full swing, and who were we to deny the Garioch Gals a show? A meaty encounter was winding down with both sides all but willing to shake hands on a point, only for Kevin Flett to convert a generous penalty award and Ross Archibald to score from open play with Locos still steaming at the referee.
TOP SCORERS…
Liam Archibald continue to lead the way, having scored six goals across all competitions this season, while brother Ross has netted three times, as has Dean Stewart. Inverurie have scored the fewest league goals of any side in the top half of the table (21), only two of which have come at Harlaw Park. Robert Ward is their top scorer this season, with five goals from sixteen appearances.
